Grenoble, located at the foot of the Alps in Southwest France, is an excellent option for Gatton students. The Grenoble School of Management is ranked as one of the top ten business schools in France, specializing in management. Gatton students have the option to study in Grenoble for the fall, spring, and/or summer terms. Business classes are taught in English and French language classes, a mandatory component of the semester exchange program, are offered for students of every skill level.

Grenoble is a large city known for its outdoor sports and young, international scene. It is a fantastic college town, with more than 63,000 student in the city. Grenoble itself is known as the “Silicon Valley” of France due to the high level of research and technology that is centered in this area. Its central location in the heart of Europe makes travelling throughout the region easy. Grenoble offers an excellent opportunity to live in an international setting in the beautiful French Alps.

In terms of academics, students will enter one of serval “tracks” with block scheduling. UK student will typically go into either the Bachelor’s 2 or Bachelor’s 3 tracks and choose from 1-3 block schedules within each track.

Student Background

The Grenoble School of Management is an especially good fit academically for a management or marketing major but students in all majors can benefit from these courses. The GEM summer program offers some International Business minor courses as well. Students should have finished about 60 hours with a 3.0 GPA and be ready for upper division coursework.
